Hola amig@s fintech,
Colombia had the busiest week in the region. Nu committed about $1.6 billion through 2030, Plata doubled its bet on the country to $120 million, Revolut laid out its launch plan, and Grupo Aval's wallet started offering digital dollars. The rails are already there: Bre-B signed up 34 million users in its first six months. The open question is what gets built on top of them, and how it changes the way Colombians save, borrow and pay.
Enjoy the read.
